Research Interests
In my current research at the Institute for Systems Biology, I have been developing approaches to study the composition and topology of cellular signaling networks. I use genome-wide functional genomics, in combination with mass spectrometry-based, global proteomic approach to study the regulators and targets of the reversible phosphorylation system.

Using these techniques, in combination with data integration and network visualization, I have developed a preliminary model of the network architecture for the signaling network governing responses to fatty acids. My current research program is building on my novel findings. I am using these powerful, systems level approaches to study the information flow within the signaling network, including crosstalk with other signaling pathways, and develops a temporally and spatially resolved model with predictive value.
